Scituate High School’s RIDE-approved Computer Science Academy is the ultimate interdisciplinary experience: Animate characters, create music with code, simulate ecosystems, analyze socioeconomic data, experiment with artificial intelligence, integrate world languages, engineer solutions, and develop games!

Not sure what career path is right for you? Computer science skills are incredibly marketable in any profession. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor and Statistics (BLS), computing occupations will account for 66% of STEM job growth through 2026!

Requirements

Courses:
  • Computer Science Essentials
  • AP Computer Science Principles
  • AP Computer Science A
  • Four years of Math with at least Algebra II

  • Certification Career Readiness Skills: Naviance
